“One Eye”

This piece wasn’t created for a gallery wall or a collector’s home; it was painted for mine. It’s been part of my personal collection for the past year. However, I’ve since painted other story pieces to hang, so this one will have the opportunity to bless another’s story.

“One Eye” is a reminder—etched in paint and grit—that when life throws chaos, storms, and setbacks your way, you don’t flinch. You face it. Eyes forward. One clear purpose.

I made this as a visual anchor for my own heart. To remember why I show up—every single day. Not for ease, not for comfort—but for my family. For those I love. For the ones who count on me to keep moving forward, no matter the wind.
